Ingredients

The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • ¼ to ½ ounce red chilies (fresh or dried)
  • ½ stalk lemongrass (minced OR 2 tbsp bottled lemongrass (I used Gourmet Garden))
  • 4 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 1 shallot (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp cilantro leaves (I used frozen cubes)
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger OR galangal root (I have no idea where to get galangal so I used ginger)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ¾ tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instruction

  • Place all ingredients in bowl/container of a food processor, blender or chopper attachment. Blend until it forms a thick paste.
  • Use as a marinade for chicken, meat or seafood or as a seasoning in curries, soups and stews.
