Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 6 ounce can tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 4 teaspoons dried minced onion
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeno peppers
  • 1 cup jalapeno pepper brine ((from jar))
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instruction

  • Place dried minced onion in boiling water and allow to cool.
  • Place softened onions in blender or food processor with all remaining ingredients and puree.
  • Refrigerate until needed.
