Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/2 white onion (finely diced)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 3 (15 ounce cans) pinto beans*
- 2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- juice of half a lime
- salt to taste
Instruction
- In a medium sized saucepan over medium high heat add the olive oil, the garlic and the onion. Sauté until tender.
- Add the beans, cumin, chili powder, lime and salt. Heat until warm.
- Remove from the stove and mash the beans until they reach desired consistency.
- Top with cilantro, and cojita cheese if desired.
