Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar
  • ½ cup of light brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon of salt
  • 2 pounds of peaches (about 6, peeled and sliced)
  • ¼ cup of cornstarch

Instruction

  • Melt the butter in a medium pot over medium heat.
  • Stir in the granulated and brown sugar then add the vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt and stir once again.
  • Let the sugar melt down for 5 minutes, stirring.
  • As you stir then add the peaches.
  • Stir and cook for 5-8 minutes or until the peaches start to become soft.
  • Add the cornstarch and stir and cook for 5 minutes or until thickened.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and bake in a crust or let it cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
