Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- ½ cup of granulated sugar
- ½ cup of light brown sugar (packed)
- 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon of salt
- 2 pounds of peaches (about 6, peeled and sliced)
- ¼ cup of cornstarch
Instruction
- Melt the butter in a medium pot over medium heat.
- Stir in the granulated and brown sugar then add the vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt and stir once again.
- Let the sugar melt down for 5 minutes, stirring.
- As you stir then add the peaches.
- Stir and cook for 5-8 minutes or until the peaches start to become soft.
- Add the cornstarch and stir and cook for 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove the pan from the heat and bake in a crust or let it cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
