Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 to 4 cups cold water

Instruction

  • At least 2 hours before serving, bring the water and sugar to a boil in a non-reactive saucepan. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the syrup turns completely clear. Transfer to a glass jar and chill for 1 hour.
  • Combine the lemon juice, sugar syrup and 3 cups of water in a large pitcher. Stir, taste and add more water if desired. Chill thoroughly before serving, at least 1 hour.
