- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 can (12-ounce) evaporated milk
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instruction
- Combine the butter, sugar, cocoa, evaporated milk, and salt in a medium saucepan.
- Over medium heat, bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low to maintain a low rolling boil for about 7-8 minutes, stirring quite frequently.
- Remove the mixture from heat and add the vanilla.
- The sauce will still seem pretty runny right now, but it will thicken. Let cool for just a few minutes before putting into the blender.
- Blend for 2-3 minutes.
