Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 pound ground beef (, 85/15)
  • 1/2 yellow onion (, diced)
  • 1 clove garlic (, minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (, uncooked)
  • 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese (, shredded)

Instruction

  • To a large pot add the ground beef and onion, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 6-8 minutes, until browned.
  • Add garlic and stir, cooking until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add the ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper, macaroni, and broth to the pan. Stir well to combine.
  • Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes, until macaroni is cooked through and tender.
  • Stir in evaporated milk and cheese until melted.
