Ingredients
The following ingredients have 10 Servings
- 4 cups old fashioned oats
- 2 cups sliced almonds
- 1 ½ cups coconut flakes (sweetened or unsweetened)
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup vegetable oil or melted coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 2 cups chopped dried figs
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 375° F with a rack in the center position
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, stir together the oats, almonds, coconut flakes and salt until combined.In a small bowl whisk together honey, oil, vanilla and almond extract
- Pour the honey mixture into the oats and toss together until combined.Pour the oats onto the prepared baking sheet and spread out evenly
- Bake until lightly golden, about 20 minutes, stirring the granola half way through to prevent uneven browning
- Remove the granola from the oven and let it cool
- Stir in the figs
- Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week
