Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • Quaker Oats - 2 cups
  • Peanuts - 1/4 cup
  • Cashew nuts - 1/4 cup
  • Almond - 1/4 cup
  • Pistas (or walnuts) - 1/4 cup
  • Sunflower seeds (or flax seeds or any other seeds) - 1/4 cup
  • Raisins - 1/4 cup
  • Dried fruit - 1/4 cup (Dried Cherries, Apple, Papaya, Cranberries etc.)
  • Cinnamon Powder (or Vanilla Extract) - 1 tsp
  • Maple syrup - 1/2 cup (Also you can use Honey or Date syrup)
  • Vegetable oil (or Coconut Oil) - 1/4 cup

Instruction

  • Mix maple syrup (or Honey) and oil in a mixing bowl.
  • Add Oats, Cinnamon powder, Cashew nuts, Almonds, Peanuts, Sunflower seeds and any other nuts that you want to add.
  • Toss well until all of the oats are coated with the maple syrup mixture.
  • Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking pan.
  • Spread it out evenly, but leave a few clumps here and there for texture.
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F and bake for 30 min. Bake for another 5 to 10 minutes if needed. The nuts and oats should be well toasted and become golden brown.
  • Mix in dried fruits (raisins, cherries, cranberries etc.) with it when its warm. Let it cool completely. Granola will be soft at first but will become crunchy as it cools down.
