Ingredients

The following ingredients have 7 Servings
  • 6 cups day-old French or Italian bread, cubed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, halved
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350º F.
  • Heat olive oil and garlic in a small saucepan over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Let cool and remove the garlic with a slotted spoon.
  • In a large bowl, toss cubed bread with garlic-infused olive oil, then season with sea salt, pepper, parsley, thyme, oregano and basil, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
  • Lay croutons flat on an aluminum foil or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Place in oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crunchy. Stir the croutons halfway through, so they bake evenly.
  • Remove from oven, serve with soup or salad and enjoy! (Store in an air-tight container, if not eating immediately.)
