Ingredients
The following ingredients have 7 Servings
- 6 cups day-old French or Italian bread, cubed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, halved
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- Heat olive oil and garlic in a small saucepan over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Let cool and remove the garlic with a slotted spoon.
- In a large bowl, toss cubed bread with garlic-infused olive oil, then season with sea salt, pepper, parsley, thyme, oregano and basil, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
- Lay croutons flat on an aluminum foil or parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Place in oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crunchy. Stir the croutons halfway through, so they bake evenly.
- Remove from oven, serve with soup or salad and enjoy! (Store in an air-tight container, if not eating immediately.)
