Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Spray a 9x9 baking pan with non stick spray.
  • Combine all ingredients into a bowl. Stir well.
  • Pour into your prepared pan and baked for 20 to 25 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cornbread comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool, and then cut and serve.
