Ingredients
The following ingredients have 18 Servings
- 2 tablespoons palm shortening or grapeseed oil
- 1½ teaspoons celtic sea salt
- 1½ cups pecans, (chopped)
- 1 cup creamy roasted almond butter
- ½ cup honey or agave nectar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups chocolate chips
Instruction
- Warm shortening and 1 teaspoon salt in a 12 inch saute pan over high heat
- Add pecans to pan and cook for 4 minutes
- Warm almond butter, honey, vanilla and ½ teaspoon salt in a saucepan over medium heat
- Remove from heat and stir pecans into almond butter mixture
- Scoop 2 heaping tablespoons of batter into each
- Melt chocolate in separate saucepan over lowest heat possible
- Dip each bar in chocolate
- Transfer to a parchment paper lined small baking sheet
- Garnish bars with salt if desired
- Freeze 30 minutes
- Serve
