Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 1/4 cups fresh Bing cherries, (halved, pitted)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup + 3 Tbsp water, (divided)
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp corn starch
Instruction
- Rinse, cut cherries in half and remove seeds.
- In a small sauce pan add cherries, sugar, water and lemon juice. Cook over low/medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Let cherries boil for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Mix 3 tablespoons of water with corn starch and add to pan.
- Once cherry mixture has thickened, remove from heat.
- Serve warm over pancakes, waffles or crepes or let cool and top cheesecakes, brownies, etc.
