Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 Tablespoons water
- whole berries ( for serving, optional)
Instruction
- In a medium saucepan, bring water, sugar, and berries to a boil. Stir occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine 2 Tablespoons water and cornstarch in a small jar with a lid and shake well. (Mason jar works great)
- Add the water-cornstarch mixture to simmering berries
- Stir continuously as the sauce thickens and the blueberries burst. Serve over pancakes or waffles adding additional berries if desired.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
