Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 8 large all purpose apples (peeled, cored and sliced thin)
  • 1 Tablespoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pie spice or apple pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 Tablespoons butter (sliced thin)

Instruction

  • Place apples in a 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Drizzle extract over apples.
  • In a bowl combine all dry ingredients and then pour over apples and toss to coat.
  • Top with butter.
  • Cook on low for 6-7 hours or until apples reduce by half-- stirring occassionally
