Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 2 cups regular rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups sliced almonds
- 1 cup wheat cereal flakes (crushed)
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup toasted wheat germ
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instruction
- In a large greased roasting pan, combine oats, nuts, wheat cereal flakes, shredded coconut, sunflower seeds, wheat germ and sesame seeds.
- In a small bowl, stir together almond butter, honey, oil, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Drizzle almond butter mixture over oat mixture; toss to coat.
- Bake in a 325º oven about 20 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring mixture every 5 minutes. Remove granola from the oven. Immediately spread on a large piece of foil; cool.
- Store in an air tight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or seal in freezer bags and freeze up to 1 month.
