Ingredients

The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 1 cup shelled sunflower seeds (raw, unroasted, unsalted)
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 3 Tbs lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbs white miso
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • Up to 2 Tbs water as needed to blend

Instruction

  • Cover seeds with hot water and allow to soak 1-2 hrs or more.
  • Drain seeds and add to blender
  • Add all remaining ingredients (except water) and blend until smooth
  • Scrape down the sides as necessary
  • Add 1 to 2 Tbs water as needed to make a smooth and creamy paste
  • Cover and allow to sit overnight in fridge for best flavor
  • Serve with your favorite Vegan Crackers or Crudités
  • Garnish with addtional paprika or thyme as desired
