Ingredients
The following ingredients have 1 Servings
- 1 cup shelled sunflower seeds (raw, unroasted, unsalted)
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 3 Tbs lemon juice
- 1 Tbs apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbs white miso
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
- Up to 2 Tbs water as needed to blend
Instruction
- Cover seeds with hot water and allow to soak 1-2 hrs or more.
- Drain seeds and add to blender
- Add all remaining ingredients (except water) and blend until smooth
- Scrape down the sides as necessary
- Add 1 to 2 Tbs water as needed to make a smooth and creamy paste
- Cover and allow to sit overnight in fridge for best flavor
- Serve with your favorite Vegan Crackers or Crudités
- Garnish with addtional paprika or thyme as desired
