Ingredients
The following ingredients have 2 Servings
- 2 cups wine, rice, or cider vinegar
- 5 herb sprigs (such as oregano, rosemary, tarragon, or thyme), lightly crushed
- 1 small, whole fresh chiles (optional)
- 1 clove garlic (optional)
Instruction
- Put vinegar and 4 to 5 herb sprigs in a jar, seal with a tight-fitting lid, and set aside to let infuse until flavors blend, 5 to 6 days.
- Strain vinegar through a fine mesh sieve into a decorative bottle and add the additional herb sprig.
- Add a couple of chiles or garlic cloves, if you like.
- Tie on a hand-written card with serving suggestions around the neck of the bottle.
- Store in the refrigerator.
