Ingredients

The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 1/2 cup gluten free rolled oats
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sweetener of choice*
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Almondmilk Cashewmilk blend (divided**)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg OR 1 T ground flax (if you use the ground flax, add an extra 3 T milk)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour or almond flour (Can sub for another T rolled oats)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional but highly recommended)
  • Extra cinnamon (for dusting)

Instruction

  • In a saucepan or microwave safe bowl, combine the rolled oats, sea salt, cinnamon, sweetener of choice and milk and simmer on medium until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Once thick, add the large egg/ground flax and mix very well until fully mixed in. Add the coconut flour, vanilla protein powder and continue stirring until a very thick batter is formed. Add the extra half cup dairy free milk.
  • Remove from heat and pour into a bowl. Top with extra cinnamon and granulated sweetener of choice.
