Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 1/2 cup gluten-free oat flour*
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (See above for recommendations)
- pinch sea salt
- Granulated sweetener of choice**
- 1/2 cup nut butter of choice (I used homemade paleo "nutella")
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (can sub for honey, agave or brown rice syrup***)
- 1 tablespoon + dairy free milk of choice****
- Dairy free chocolate chips (optional)
Instruction
- In a large mixing bowl, combine your flours, protein powder, cocoa powder, salt and granulated sweetener and set aside.
- In a microwave safe bowl or stovetop, melt your nut butter with the maple syrup. Mix very well until fully incorporated.
- If batter is too thick (it generally is), add a tablespoon of dairy-free milk, until a thick batter is formed. If batter is too thin, add a dash more flour until a thick batter is formed. Stir in optional chocolate chips then using your hands, form into bite sized balls.
- Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes, or until firm.
