The following ingredients have 4 Servings

  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (See above for recommendations)
  • pinch sea salt
  • Granulated sweetener of choice**
  • 1/2 cup nut butter of choice (I used homemade paleo "nutella")
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (can sub for honey, agave or brown rice syrup***)
  • 1 tablespoon + dairy free milk of choice****
  • Dairy free chocolate chips (optional)

Instruction

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine your flours, protein powder, cocoa powder, salt and granulated sweetener and set aside.
  • In a microwave safe bowl or stovetop, melt your nut butter with the maple syrup. Mix very well until fully incorporated.
  • If batter is too thick (it generally is), add a tablespoon of dairy-free milk, until a thick batter is formed. If batter is too thin, add a dash more flour until a thick batter is formed. Stir in optional chocolate chips then using your hands, form into bite sized balls.
  • Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes, or until firm.
