Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 1 1/2 c ground hazelnuts
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp sugar (2 tbsp for topping)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp oat flour
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instruction

  • Grind your hazelnuts into a fine texture.
  • Combine your hazelnut "flour", baking powder, oat flour, and 2 tbsp of sugar in one bowl.
  • In another bowl melt your coconut oil and then add other liquid ingredients.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ones and mix well.
  • Lay a piece of saran wrap down and put dough in the center.
  • Wrap it up and put it in the fridge to firm for 30-60 min.
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Remove saran wrap and put between two pcs of parchment paper and roll out until it's about 1/4" thick.
  • Use cookie cutters if desired or cut with a pizza cutter (works well) into pcs that are the same size so they cook evenly.
  • Place on cookie sheet with parchment paper underneath and sprinkle tops with sugar.
  • Bake for 13 minutes, remove even though they won't look done.
  • Leave them on the cookie sheet to continue cooking after taking them out of the oven.
  • Once cool, enjoy
