Ingredients

The following ingredients have 11 Servings
  • 3 cans (28 ounces each) baked beans, drained
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in 100% juice
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in 100% juice
  • 1 lb bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 small white onion, chopped
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup mustard
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste

Instruction

  • Mix all ingredients together in a 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours (or high for 2 - 2 1/2 hours). If you’d like thicker beans, leave lid off the slow cooker for the last 30-45 minutes.
  • If they become too thick, stir in a little bit of hot water to thin to desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
