  • 1 12-oz. can evaporated milk
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 pounds Certified Angus Beef ® brand ground beef (I used 80/20)
  • ½ cup hatch green chile sauce
  • ⅔ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 medium red onion (cut into ¼” slices)
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • lettuce
  • 1 large tomato (cut into ½” slices)
  • ½ cup hatch green chile sauce
