Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 1/2 – 2 lbs hamburger
- 3 or 4 carrots (sliced)
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- 6 or 7 medium potatoes peeled and cut up
- 2 or 3 stalks of celery chopped
- 1 pkg frozen corn
- 1 pkg frozen okra
- 1 48 oz. can tomato juice
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- water or chicken broth
Instruction
- Brown hamburger in skillet, drain. In a large soup pot, add all the ingredients except tomato juice. Add enough water to just cover the vegetables and simmer until potatoes and carrots are soft. Add tomato juice and continue to simmer on low heat for about 30 to 45 minutes.
