Ingredients

The following ingredients have 3 Servings
  • 1 demi baguette
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon spicy mustard
  • 4 slices Virginia ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 stalk green onion (thinly sliced for garnish, optional)

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and mustard
  • Mix well and set aside
  • Cut the ham and cheese slices into 1/2-inch pieces; set aside
  • Using a bread knife, slice your demi baguette lengthwise, making cuts 1-inch apart. Be sure not to cut all the way through the bread
  • Turn the loaf 180 degrees and cut the bread again, slicing 1-inch apart, making sure not to cut all the way through the bread. This will leave you with several 'squares' of bread
  • Spread the mayo/mustard mixture in between all the slits
  • Shove the sliced ham and cheese in between. Don't be afraid of over-stuffing, there's no such thing
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly
  • Remove from oven and top with sliced green onions
  • Serve warm
