Ingredients
The following ingredients have 3 Servings
- 1 demi baguette
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon spicy mustard
- 4 slices Virginia ham
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 stalk green onion (thinly sliced for garnish, optional)
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and mustard
- Mix well and set aside
- Cut the ham and cheese slices into 1/2-inch pieces; set aside
- Using a bread knife, slice your demi baguette lengthwise, making cuts 1-inch apart. Be sure not to cut all the way through the bread
- Turn the loaf 180 degrees and cut the bread again, slicing 1-inch apart, making sure not to cut all the way through the bread. This will leave you with several 'squares' of bread
- Spread the mayo/mustard mixture in between all the slits
- Shove the sliced ham and cheese in between. Don't be afraid of over-stuffing, there's no such thing
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly
- Remove from oven and top with sliced green onions
- Serve warm
