Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 2 Cups Ham (chopped)
- 2 1/2-3 Cup Broccoli Florets (steamed)
- 3 Cups Pasta Shells
- 3 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese (finely shredded, better quality makes a smoother sauce)
- 1 Cup Medium or Mild Cheddar Cheese (finely shredded)
- 1 Tablespoon Corn Starch (plus 2 Teaspoons)
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 3 Dashes Hot Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- Pepper
- 1 Cup Half and Half (may use milk)
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
Instruction
- In a deep skillet, over medium heat add the ham and saute until golden, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove to a plate.
- In a large bowl, toss the cheese and cornstarch.
- Start the pasta in boiling water and cook per package instructions.
- Heat the skillet back to medium heat and add the cheese, salt, hot sauce, mustard, worcestershire, pepper, half and half and cream.
- Heat through while whisking until smooth and silky.
- Add the ham and broccoli and using a slotted spoon add the pasta.
- Stir to combine, season to taste.
- Serve with extra pepper.
