Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 Pound beef stew meat
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- ½ Cup carrot (chopped)
- 1 Cup peas
- ½ Tsp thyme
- ½ Tsp oregano
- 1 Tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsp flour
- ¾ Cup Guinness beer
- 1 Cup beef broth
- 2 Cups mashed potatoes
- ½ Cup cream cheese
- ½ Cup mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a saucepan over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add onions and carrots and cook until onions are slightly translucent.
- Add beef stew meat and cook until browned. Add the peas, spices, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce and mix until combined.
- Pour Guinness beer and cook for 3 minutes or until beer has reduced. Sprinkle with flour and pour beef broth. SImmer for 4 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl combine mashed potatoes with cream cheese and mozzarella cheese. Set aside. Transfer beef to a casserole dish and top with mashed potatoes.
- Take to the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
