Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 cups (470 milliliters) Guinness
  • 2 cups (400 grams) light brown sugar
  • Olive oil (for serving)

Instruction

  • In a medium saucepan, whisk together Guinness and brown sugar over medium heat.
  • Once it begins to bubble, reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until reduced by half, 45-60 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. It will thicken further as it cools.
  • Once room temperature, store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  • Serve with a small bowl for dipping with equal parts olive oil.
