Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ teaspoon minced ginger
- ½ cup light soy sauce
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon chili paste
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds ( for topping)
- white rice (for serving)
Instruction
- Add ground beef to a saute pan set over medium high heat.
- Brown the ground beef and crumble it with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
- Add ginger, garlic, light soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, and chili paste to a small bowl and mix to combine the stir fry sauce.
- Once beef is well browned, add the garlic and cook for an additional minute or until fragrent.
- Add the broccoli florets and sauce. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Let the sauce simmer uncovered until thickened and most of the liquid has evaporated.
- Serve ground beef and broccoli over cooked white rice and top with sesame seeds.
