Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 6 to 8 boness, skinless chicken thighs (or 4 chicken breasts)
- 20 to 25 Thai basil leaves
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1 Tbsp sriracha
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp ginger paste or minced ginger
- Optional: 1 Tbsp Thai Seasoning stir in paste (picture in post above)
- sweet Thai chili sauce for dipping
Instruction
- Trim the chicken thighs if needed and place them in a gallon size plastic bag.
- Finely chop the Thai basil leaves and put them in a bowl.
- To the bowl with the Thai basil add the soy sauce, honey, fish sauce, sriracha, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and Thai seasoning paste if using. Whisk until combined.
- Add the marinade to the bag with the chicken. Massage the bag until the chicken is coated, place in the fridge and marinate at least an hour or overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium high heat. Grill the chicken 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Serve with sweet Thai chili sauce for dipping
