- lettuce (romaine works best)

- ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- ⅛ cup sugar
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 ½ teaspoons ginger (freshly grated)
- black pepper (freshly cracked)
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 teaspoons corn starch
