Ingredients

The following ingredients have 42 Servings
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup organic brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (at room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instruction

  • Preheat grill to 375 degrees, using only one burner. We need indirect heat.
  • Beat together butter, sugars, and egg until light and fluffy.
  • Add the vanilla, flour, salt, and baking soda. Beat just until combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough using a small cookie scoop {about 1 Tablespoon} and place on a small baking sheet {1/4 sheet pan}.
  • Place cookie pan over indirect heat and close the lid. Cook for 9 to 10 minutes, until golden brown and set.
  • Remove from grill, allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes. Move to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Continue "grilling" additional cookies, or cover cookie dough and place in the refrigerator until ready to use.
