Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 250 g Raw Tomato (Cut into big chunks)
- 50 g Green chilli
- 15-20 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup Skinless Roasted peanuts
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp Tamarind paste
- 2 tsp Vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Chana Dal
- 1 tsp Urad Dal
- 10-12 Curry leaves
Instruction
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan.
- Once the oil is hot, add tomato and green chilli and cook for 8-10 minutes until tomatoes are charred and nicely cooked.
- Transfer the tomatoes and chillies in the jar of a blender.
- Add garlic, peanuts, salt and tamarind paste and grind to make a smooth chutney.
- Add little water if required.
- For the tadka, heat 2 tsp oil in a small pan.
- Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal and curry leaves and let the dal turn brown.
- Pour the tadka over the chutney.
- Serve with rice and curd.
