Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1kg beef mince
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 carrot diced
  • 2 celery sticks diced
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 2 beef stock cubes
  • 3 tbs cornflour
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tbs tomato sauce
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 cups mashed potato
  • 1 splash milk
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste

Instruction

  • Fry onion, carrot, celery and pepper in a deep frypan with salt and pepper until softened.
  • Add the mince and remaining ingredients. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Spoon mixture into a baking dish, and top with mashed potato.
  • Brush top with milk and bake at 185C for approximately 40 minutes or until potato has browned.
