Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 8 cups Mixed Mushrooms (e. g. oyster, cep, button, shiitake)
  • 2 cloves garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 2.5 Tbsps butter
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 Tbsp Crème fraiche
  • 2 Tbsps parsley (chopped)
  • salt
  • freshly ground peppers
  • Nutmeg (freshly grated)
  • 8 slices Bread
  • olive oil

Instruction

  • Clean the mushrooms. Cut into thick slices or leave whole, depending on the size of the mushrooms.
  • Heat the butter in a large frying pan and sauté half of the mushrooms. Now add the remaining mushrooms and fry until golden brown.
  • Add the garlic to the mushrooms. Season with nutmeg and freshly milled pepper.
  • Pour in the cream and simmer, then add the creme fraiche and season with salt.
  • In the meantime toast the slices of bread in a grill pan.
  • Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the mushrooms, season to taste and serve on warmed plates with the toasted bread.
