The following ingredients have 2 Servings

- 1 ½ cups gongura leaves ((roselle leaves))
- 3 to 4 green chilies ((adjust to taste))
- 1 cup onions (chopped finely (about 2))
- 1 to 1½ teaspoon garam masala ((adjust to suit your taste))
- 2 tablespoon poppy seeds paste (or 12 cashew nuts (refer notes))
- 2 tablespoon oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt (or as needed)
- 1 bay leaf ( or 1 sprig of curry leaves)
- 2 green cardamoms
- 2 cloves
- 1 inch cinnamon (piece)
- 1 pinch cumin (or jeera)
- ¾ tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
