The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 Cups Milk
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Crushed Pepper
- 1 tbsp Palm Sugar / Jaggery / Honey
Instruction
- First, measure and keep all the ingredients ready. Heat the milk in low flame.
- Then, add the turmeric powder and stir well. Boil the milk furthermore for 2 minutes till the raw smell of the turmeric powder leaves.
- To a hand mortar - pestle or a mixer, add the whole peppercorns and crush it a little (you can add ready-made pepper powder too, but freshly ground one, adds a nice flavour). Now, add the crushed pepper to the boiling milk.
- Switch off the flame and then add palm sugar or jaggery or regular sugar for sweetness.
