Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 inches fresh turmeric root (peeled and cut into rough chunks (see Note 1 for dried turmeric))
  • 4 inches fresh ginger root (peeled and cut into rough chunks)
  • 8 pitted dates
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon (1 tsp to 1 Tbsp to taste (see Note 2))
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups milk ((substitute non-dairy of your choice if desired))

Instruction

  • Mix all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend til smooth. Pour into mug(s) and heat in microwave about 90 seconds. Leave lots of head space in your cup so it doesn't bubble over.
  • Store any excess if fridge and reheat as required.
