Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 inches fresh turmeric root (peeled and cut into rough chunks (see Note 1 for dried turmeric))
- 4 inches fresh ginger root (peeled and cut into rough chunks)
- 8 pitted dates
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon (1 tsp to 1 Tbsp to taste (see Note 2))
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 cups milk ((substitute non-dairy of your choice if desired))
Instruction
- Mix all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend til smooth. Pour into mug(s) and heat in microwave about 90 seconds. Leave lots of head space in your cup so it doesn't bubble over.
- Store any excess if fridge and reheat as required.
