The following ingredients have 48 Servings
- 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Ready to Bake!™ Sugar Cookie Dough (24 Count)
- 1 container (1 lb) chocolate creamy ready-to-spread frosting
- 48 miniature chocolate-covered peanut butter cup candies, unwrapped
- 48 mini vanilla wafer cookies (for heads)
- Candy eyeballs
- Dots™ orange and red gumdrop candies, cut into small pieces (for beaks and wattles)
- Assorted candy sprinkles and mini candy-coated chocolate candies (fall colors) for feathers
Instruction
- Heat oven to 350°F. Cut cookie dough rounds in half; shape each into a ball. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased large cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack to cool completely.
- Using photo as a guide, assemble turkey cookies. Spread chocolate frosting on top of sugar cookie, and place small dab of frosting on wide end of peanut butter cup; attach to bottom of cookie.
- Using frosting, attach decorations to vanilla wafer for head feathers, eye, beak and wattles. Attach decorated vanilla wafer in upright position for head using frosting. Finish with tail feathers. Repeat for each turkey cookie.
