Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup all purpose gluten free flour (140g)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
  • 2/3 cup water (plus 2 tbsp more if needed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar, (or, honey, or granulated sugar)

Instruction

  • Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well with a fork
  • Mix all the wet ingredients in another bowl, add to dry ingredients and mix well until combined.
  • If you want a thinner batter add a little more water and mix again.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter in to the middle of a hot, greased waffle iron. You may need to spread it out a little with the back of a spoon.
  • Close waffle iron and cook until brown, serve hot.
