Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 half racks baby back ribs, about 3 to 4 pounds total
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup tamari gluten free soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 275°F. Place your ribs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil (for easier cleanup). Mix the rub ingredients together and then rub all over both sides of the ribs. Bake the ribs for 4-5 hours. Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until reduced by about 1/3. It should become thicker and syrupy. About 30 minutes before the ribs are done, brush them with about half of the sauce and then return to the oven. I like to use a silicone brush because it is easier to clean. When they come out of the oven brush them with the remaining sauce and then let cool slightly before slicing into rib sections.
