Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 1/3 cup extra fine whole sorghum flour ((we get ours from Authentic Foods))
  • 2 Tablespoons Earth Echo Foods Cacao Bliss powder
  • 1 Tablespoon ground golden flaxseed (aka flaxseed meal) ((This is the binder, don't skip this!))
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup dairy free milk of choice ((rice, oat, coconut, etc.))
  • 2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons light tasting olive oil ((or melted dairy free butter or coconut oil))
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Stevia drops, to taste
  • 1 Tablespoons allergy friendly mini chocolate chips ((we use Enjoy Life mini chips))

Instruction

  • In a medium to large sized microwave-safe mug, stir together the flour, flaxseed meal, Cacao Bliss, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add to the flour mixture the dairy free milk, maple syrup, oil, vanilla, and chocolate chips and stir until well blended. Make sure to scrape the bottom corners of the mug to make sure all the flour is mixed.
  • Microwave for 1 minute on normal power. 
  • Cool for about 5 minutes before eating (it will be very hot, be careful). 
  • Top with dairy free whipped cream and sprinkles or mini chocolate chips!
