Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 5-6 apples (cored and sliced (I prefer Honeycrisp))
  • 1 cup gluten free quick cooking oats (I used Bob's Red Mill)
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup almond flour (I used Honeyville)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 stick cold butter (cut into cubes)

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375 °. Grease or spray an 8 x 8 baking dish or cast iron skillet.
  • Put sliced apples into the pan.
  • In a bowl stir the oats, sugar, almond flour and cinnamon.
  • Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture with your hands until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Top apples with flour mixture.
  • Bake for 35-45 min. until topping gets golden.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
