Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 2 1/3 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- Sprinkles
Instruction
- Heat a large griddle over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the buttermilk, egg oil and vanilla.
- Using a wooden spoon, stir the pancakes until just incorporated. Do not stir out the lumps!
- Lightly grease or butter the griddle and pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle.
- When bubbles begin to form and pop, about 2-3 minutes, flip the pancakes and cook until golden on the other side.
- Allow to cool slightly then using a bottle cap or donut hole cutter, cut the centers out of the pancakes and dip both the "donut" and "hole" in the glaze.
- Top with sprinkles and serve!
