Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Buttermilk
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2 1/3 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • Sprinkles

Instruction

  • Heat a large griddle over medium heat.
  • In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the buttermilk, egg oil and vanilla.
  • Using a wooden spoon, stir the pancakes until just incorporated. Do not stir out the lumps!
  • Lightly grease or butter the griddle and pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle.
  • When bubbles begin to form and pop, about 2-3 minutes, flip the pancakes and cook until golden on the other side.
  • Allow to cool slightly then using a bottle cap or donut hole cutter, cut the centers out of the pancakes and dip both the "donut" and "hole" in the glaze.
  • Top with sprinkles and serve!
