Ingredients
The following ingredients have 24 Servings
- 125g self-raising flour
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp caster sugar
- 60g butter
- 90g golden syrup
Instruction
- Grease 2 baking trays and preheat oven to 190C.
- Sift flour, bicarbonate of soda, ginger, cinnamon and sugar. Melt butter and stir in the syrup, then stir in the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Roll into small balls, place well apart on the trays and flatten slightly.
- Bake in centre of oven for about 15 minutes.
- Cool for a few minutes before lifting carefully on to a wire rack.
