  • ¼ cup applesauce
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablspoons granulated sugar, for sprinkling on top (optional)
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
