- 1/2 cup fresh ginger, (peeled and chopped)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
Instruction
- Combine ginger, sugar, and water in small saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool for 30 minutes. Set a mesh strainer over a bowl. Pour ginger syrup through, discarding ginger. Transfer ginger syrup to an airtight container and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
