Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 inch ginger root (peeled and coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instruction

  • Place all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat to a boil over medium high heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. 
  • Lower the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes. 
  • Remove from heat, let cool to room temperature, strain into a jar and refrigerate.
