Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 16 oz shrimp (peeled)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt & pepper (to taste)

Instruction

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, honey, ginger, garlic, lime juice, olive oil, and spicy sauce. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Chill for at least one hour, or overnight, for flavor to fully develop.
  • In another bowl, saturate the wooden skewers in water for at least one hour. Marinate the shrimp in the sauce for at least one hour prior to grilling. Reserve half the sauce for later (do not use the same sauce that the shrimp soak in).
  • Preheat the grill to 400 F. Thread the skewers through the shrimp so the shrimp are just touching. Spray the grill will a nonstick spray, then place the shrimp onto the grill. Monitor closely.
  • Cook the shrimp until pink, about 1-2 minutes per side. Brush the remaining reserved sauce onto the shrimp kabobs and remove from the grill. Serve right away and enjoy!
