Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons tamari or soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced bamboo shoots
  • 1 cup quinoa (rinsed)
  • 15 ounce can straw mushrooms (drained)
  • 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 3 scallions sliced
  • 1 tomato (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instruction

  • Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat.
  • Cook covered 18-20 minutes.
